Life is an adventure ~ Train for it!

I truly believe that life is an adventure that must be trained for regularly, and that exercise and fresh foods are natural medicine. Whether you are training for a specific sport, working out for health, or just want to feel better, I can help create a program specific to your individual needs. I offer a variety of classes and instruction. You name it, we’ll create it! No problem!

One-on-One

Everyone is unique in terms of body type and fitz-ness level. Working with me is the perfect way to get one-on-one attention and a program that is specifically designed for you. Learn how to perform exercises correctly before moving into a group setting, or continue the one-on-one attention. I will motivate, encourage, and educate you. Form is of utmost importance when working out to help prevent injury, so it is important to learn proper technique early on. It can be a real comfort to know that you will have consistent, positive, unwavering support.

Group Exercise

Feel the motivating energy with your whole krewe. Form your own group with friends or join one of our other fun classes. Building a great group of fitness enthusiasts can take your training to another level. Though group exercise is more cost effective, I highly recommend doing one-on-one classes prior to joining a group to learn proper technique. Group exercise can also be tailored for a specific sport. Gather your golf, soccer or running buddies together for some interval training, strength training, stretching and good times. You won’t know if your abs hurt from the abdominal exercises or laughing.

Group Stretch

Stretching is important for keeping your muscles healthy, strong, and flexible in addition to helping your joints through their full range of motion (ROM). While extremely important for all ages, it becomes even more so the older we get (shhhh, we all age). Stretching helps decrease back pain and injury as well as improves your posture and boosts energy levels. Just like everything, it’s always more enjoyable with a fun group.

Outdoor Fitz-ness

What we like to refer to as “lil-red-wagon krewe”. During Covid, we started outdoor only classes for friends and neighbors. I filled a red wagon with weights, balance toys, agility rings and ladders, yoga mats, and lots of sanitizer. It’s been a “HITT" ever since, and is now a permanent part of my training. The lil-red-wagon is also available to travel. I am happy to come to your home, driveway or garage to teach fun fitz-ness classes in your neighborhood.

Virtual Health

Virtual Workouts, Check-ins and Meal Prep

Want to learn how to meal prep for the week and cook healthy, delicious meals for the family from home? Let’s meet virtually weekly or monthly to get new meal prep and recipe ideas.

Do you need more accountability? Virtual meetings, workout classes and check-ins are a great way to stay accountable and connected. It’s important to have that connection and trust. Goal setting and staying motivated are key, but not always easy. Working through questions and or completing workouts with a partner can really help and is possible virtually for the times we can’t be together.

Nutrition & Cooking

You can’t have good health with just exercise. What you put in your body is equally, if not more, important. I teach real food eating; no supplements, no shakes, no counting calories - just eating clean, delicious food and eating your rainbow.  A diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, and nuts can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect on blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check. Learn how to cook healthy meals, prep for the week and fun ideas for entertaining too.

“I lost 30 pounds with Thea’s training and positivity! Thea’s positive attitude and lack of judgement helped me become more self-aware of my choices. She challenges you to be the best version of yourself and gives you the confidence that you can do it. Working out at the Whine Cellar was the best thing I did for myself. She had faith in me when I did not have it in myself. She gave me the motivation to show up in life and achieve my goals. If you're thinking about taking the leap, do it. You will look back in a few months and be glad you did!” ~Melissa M.

" I had the good fortune to start working with Thea in 2006. I have arthritis in all my major joints, neck to toes, and she has done a remarkable job of keeping me moving. Thea has been very creative in adapting various weight training and flexibility exercises to allow me to maximize my workouts. As a golfer, she has tailored programs that have helped me continue to play. And most of all Thea is a great person.” ~Thomas M.
